Soul Trauma Healing
~ Integrate Individual Trauma
As a Bachelor in Alternative Systems of Medicines, I have studied the systems, strategies, and skills of several theories of psychotherapy and counseling. As a Diplomaed in Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, I have learned how to be present with the other while being exposed to the importance of freedom of choice and the search for meaning in life as a primary motivational force. As a Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner, I've developed Ericksonian Hypnotherapy skills. As a Ñusta in the Q'ero Andean Tradition, I understand the importance of developing and incorporating spirituality in our lives.
Following a humanistic approach, I've integrated these perspectives to create this program, where I offer an environment of love and safety to help you heal from trauma.
My Story
Following my passion for understanding, in 2017 I graduated from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, where I learned an innovative look at emerging and well-established counseling theories as well as the systems, strategies, and skills of the major psychotherapy theories.

There, I learned about the goals for counseling and psychotherapy that are to be considered in terms of objectives to each patient, including supportive listening, problem management, modifying poor skills that sustain a repetitive problem, and bringing about a changed philosophy of life.

This education provided me with the understanding that all physical illnesses have psychological aspects or complications, even in cases of chronic pain, chronic fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders, and gynecological illnesses.
It was then that I started to notice among my patients that many referring chronic illnesses seemed to have experienced trauma and seemed to have difficulties in making nurturing choices that would result in their optimal health and well-being. Even more, they seemed to be far from focusing on their well-functioning and on developing their full potential, including equanimity, autonomy, mental clarity, human sympathy, honesty, inner strength, and compassionate or selfless service.

This is why Frankl's Logotheraphy and May / Yalom's Existential Analysis seemed very important to me at the time. Even under extreme circumstances people have choices and ways to find meaning in life. Even though often people avoid difficult conflicts and confrontations, leading to neglect the potentials for meaning; the struggle in change, facing the experience of aloneness, and all apprehensions about the inevitability of death, offer the opportunity to develop the courage required to pursue goals of independence and growth.

Also, why Neurolinguistic Programming and Ericksonian Hypnosis seemed to complement my findings, as they explore the connection between neurological processes, language, and behavioral patterns learned through experience; and that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life

This education has equipped me with a perspective of people not as simply passive victims of circumstances but as the architects of their own lives who can provide good examples of emotional health, as well as an understanding of the importance of being in balance and harmony with one's inner-self; with one's friends, family, and colleagues; with one's physical environment; and with one's spirituality; to be able to experience the unity of self and world; which, in cases of trauma, seems to be very limited.

I then studied with the indigenous Q'ero tribe in the Andes, who taught me about the importance of living in harmony with our mind, emotions, and will, to be able to live in harmony with our environment and our planet.

In my private practice, I integrate my experience working with patients and these studies to create a safe space, so you can heal from trauma and experience your capacity for awareness of both yourself and the world, opening to all the possibilities life has to offer you.

My approach
From a soul perspective, soul loss or the freezing of soul parts shares similarities with what contemporary psychology calls "dissociation": the splitting of the psyche in response to traumatic, shocking, or difficult experiences; but it doesn't handle what part of us dissociates or where does it go.

In some cultures, it is believed that when a person is traumatised, their "ajayu" or soul leaves the body as a way to protect itself from intolerable pain. Even though it doesn't really leave you, a part of your soul can stay frozen in the moment in time trauma happened.

My Soul Trauma Healing program is based on an understanding of the whole process, knowing these pieces of the soul are hiding in a non-physical reality that I, as a trained healthcare professional and also a spiritually initiated Ñusta, have access to, waiting for you to allow their integration back to wholeness.

Unresolved trauma is often the cause of many core wounds that affect your responses later in adulthood. This is why I journey with those seeking healing, integration, and karmic resolution, due to the experience of trauma, as the frozen parts of your soul can't come back on their own.

Core wounds are your deepest-seeded pains in life. As these began to deepen throughout your childhood, pubescent years, and subsequent adulthood, you began to put up barriers of protection to keep other people from hurting you. Although in many cases this protected you, in the end it served to trap you inside, limiting your ability to experience true freedom and authenticity in your day-to-day life and in your relationships. These cause fatigue, as they prevent you from accessing your stored energy and potential within.

Some of the ways in which trauma happens:

-
Any form of abuse, ie. sexual, emotional, physical, or mental.
-
An event of prolonged grief, pain, and fear, that made you feel helpless or impotent.
-
Deep-seated addictions, ie substance dependency.
-
A near-death or out-of-body experience.
-
Being forced to act against your morals.
-
An experience of intense rejection or abandonment.
-
Witnessing the unexpected death of someone.
-
A sudden and shocking accident.
-
Entering a relationship without strong boundaries of Self (resulting in an unhealthy relationship and loosing your personal power).
-
Divorce or end of a significant relationship.
-
An accident.
-
Combat or exposure to elements of war.
-
Surviving a natural disaster.

Reactions to trauma can be acute or long-term. People may also have varying degrees of reaction to it. Some may have acute or shorter reactions that they can work through independently, whereas others may have a more challenging time dealing with distress related to the incident for longer periods. Traumatic events can lead to disturbances or decline in emotional, physical, and interpersonal well-being. In some instances, reactions to trauma can lead to a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Traumatic responses may include:

-
Intrusive or repetitive memories or distressing thoughts.
-
Flashbacks.
-
Nightmares or trouble sleeping.
-
Memory issues.
-
Persistent distressing emotions, including fear, shame, rage, guilt, or shame.
-
Anxiety or depression.
-
Feeling on edge or easily startled.
-
Irritability.
-
Isolation or withdrawal from support.
-
Dissociation, detachment, or depersonalization.
-
Avoidance of thoughts or triggers related to the even.

It can be hard to know when to reach out for help. However, an event or situation causing you significant psychological or physical distress can require immediate attention. Focusing on your mental and physical well-being can help you heal. I'm here for you when you are ready.

Soul Trauma Healing
It is normal to experience difficulty recovering from trauma or pain from the past. Just because the experience is over doesn't mean you haven't been deeply affected. It can take time to recognize and understand what's happened and what it means for you.

Letting go implies that we are releasing ourselves from parts of the past. This can be challenging when we've created bonds or have meaningful memories attached to people, places, and things. We also have a hard time with change. Taking in or making sense of situations that affect how we see ourselves and the world is a complex task.

Soul loss, soul freezing, or dissociation in the face of trauma is a device used by the brain to survive the potentially destructive event, it happens to protect you rather than hurt you, as part of an adaptation process. However, a wound must be healed, otherwise it festers. When you neglect to heal and integrate these frozen parts of yourself, you are left with a chronic feeling of unwholeness. Eventually, you may suffer from chronic issues such as anxiety, depression, and mental or physical illnesses; these are all ways in which you cope with your life through an unwhole soul.

Even though you are not conscious of this, you are constantly trying to retrieve your soul, to integrate the frozen pieces that have been left behind. You do this on your own, unconsciously, by repeating the same patterns, over and over again, even when the names of those involved, the situations and the places where this occurs may change over time.

Once the pieces of your soul have been retrieved, healed, and integrated, it might be the end of the search, or it might be the beginning, as it is up to you to choose which degree of health, wellbeing, and abundance you would like to experience, according to your unique blueprint and understanding of these.

With Soul Trauma Healing, I have created for you a space of love and safety where you can put together the pieces of your soul, guiding you while you remember who you really are, and from that wholesome state how to enjoy a happy, healthy, abundant life.
